Workers at the Alamo Drafthouse continue a strike at their Brookyln and Manhattan theaters. The strike aims to resinstate 70 laid off employees with back pay, and to continue contract negotiations in good faith with the company, which have been ongoing since September of 2023.

Over 1,000 workers at 11 unionized locations of New Seasons Market, a local chain of Portland grocery stores initiated a strike on November 27th in response to unfair labor practices and failing to reach a new deal with management after more than a year of bargaining.

Workers at Reviewed -- a Gannett publication -- went out on strike on July 2nd. Union members are striking in protest of bad faith bargaining and low wage offers from Gannett. The more than 40 employees voted to unionize with The NewsGuild-CWA in March of 2023.

On Friday, March 22nd Long Beach Post and Business Journal CEO Melissa Evans began making calls to Long Beach Post workers telling them they've been laid off. These layoffs come as workers are demanding union recognition to protect their jobs and continue to cover the Long Beach community.

The workers who are responsible for designing, printing, distributing, advertising sales, accounts receivable, and content creation for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette are on strike. They have not had a pay raise in over 15 years and went on strike over the illegal, unilateral cuts to their healthcare made by the millionaire owners of the paper.
